Rio Cristal Announces Director Appointments and Resignations

Vancouver, B.C., August 29, 2014 -- Rio Cristal Resources Corporation (TSX-V:RCZ) ("Rio Cristal" or the "Company") announces the election of Matthew Watson, Dan Kriznic and Palu Philips to its Board of Directors.
Matthew Watson is currently President and CEO of Nathun Venture Advisors, and an officer/ board member of several public and private companies.
Dan Kriznic, a CPA, CA, is currently the president of Slocan Strategies Inc. and was previously the CFO and Executive Vice President of Canada's largest for profit education company. Prior to that he was a Senior Manager at Deloitte & Touche LLP.
Palu Philips is the Founder of Keep Accounting and holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the Sauder School of Business.
Effective August 28, 2014, Tony Hines, Thomas Findley, Miguel Cardozo, Andre Gauthier and Hans Flury have resigned from the Board of Directors of the Company.
